I bought the first one of these CATs to carry with my chainsaw kit along with FFD's and a PMR. I was so pleased I bought another. It comes in a sealed package but i removed it to check it and set it up for use, "who is going to say, Hold up, about the sterility of a cat with there leg hanging off and bleeding out?". It checks out ok, I tested the strength of the windlass on a cushion to simulate a limb and it winds up extremely tight with no signs of failing. Important considering you are going to potentially trust your life to the durability. It is now set up in the ready to use one handed state and attached to my FAK on my work belt. I Have obviously not tested it in anger, and hope not to. But as a former army medic, I can say this is worth buying if you are in the market for self help. I liked it so much i bought a second one for my outdoors liesure FAK. Thanks Banggood.
